Finishing Course of Glazing, Texture, and Specialty Finishes.
Here she became familiarized to the beautiful work and stencils
of Melanie Royals,

www.modellodesigns.com. She was introduced to the talents of
LouAnn D'Atillo, of D’Atillo Studios, where she furthered her
knowledge of Faux Effects and their intense scope of products.
Here she completed work in Floors, Cabinets, and Countertops,
as well as, Lusterstone. |

After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, an organization called the Decorative Painting Apprenticeship Program, www.dpap.org, began renovations on the Ice Cream Parlor of the Casino Building in the New Orleans City Park. This program is about keeping the art of Decorative Painting alive, thanks to the founder Bernadette Foresee. Here, Keeley was a part of plastering columns with Safra’s Venetian Plaster. They hand troweled the entry way with Perfetto’s Portofino, and created a harlequin backdrop with Lusterstone. |
